1998 mustang question???

alright i have a v6 mustang and i am going to put a gt engine or cobra engine in but i was wondering if i could put the cobra engine from 1994(because its a 5.0) in without too much work..they are the same body visually but i was just wondering if it could be easily swapped

Why not just go to forced4motorsports and buy a turbo kit for the V6. The kit will give you more power than  Gt and about the same if not mor than a cobra.

Easily....kinda. You will need a new transmission, new engine mounts, possibly a new driveshaft, A new computer, maybe a new fuel pump, and you will likely blow up your rear end. But it will keep you busy getting everything locked down, and will be a screamer when it's right. Please make sure to upgrade your brakes if you do this , with more GO, you need more WHOA.

no it wont work you would have to change the controller and the computer plus some other things

It will work, but u will probably have to change the position of the motor mounts, depending if it is manual or automatic.

you dont have to upgrade your brakes its only 250 hp.
