The car has sit for a couple of years. It wouldn't start, so I replaced the in tank fuel pump along with the old gas. It starts and runs now, but when it does the first shift going down the road it will die. I at first thought it was the fuel filter, then I noticed that it only does it when it shifts. Any ideas?

  1. check for vacuum leaks

  2. when a car sit many parts get Rusty and the fuel turns.. so even tho you change the pump and filter  it could be that what fuel was in the line and the throttle body will need cleaning also and or you have a vacuum leak... id bet it still some what stopped up the fuel system
