1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Brake Light Problem?

Question

The brake lights on my 99 Grand Cherokee won't work if the parking lights aren't on. The light above the rear glass will, but the actual brake lights don't. Also, my blinkers work fine. Have not tested the reverse lights yet.

Anyone have any similar experiences?
