  1. It should be a electronic shift transmission, Probably a solenoid. Have it checked by a reputable transmission mechanic who will not rake you over the coals and automatically tell you that you need a complete rebuild. Some times more often than not it is a simple fix that is not costly.

  3. My boyfriend who will soon be finishing school for automotive technology says don't have it rebuilt. Automatics you just need to replace new.
