  1. You will see changes especially because of the short fast runs which increases your cardiac activity.  It has been proven that short bursts of increased levels of activity is so good for weight loss. Walking will also improve your bone strength and if you do not increase your food intake to match your new exercise level you will be you will gradual weight loss which is the best thing. What the clothes you will see it there first.

Extract from our newsleter "The benefits you gain from exercise are not dependent on the time it takes for you to  workout, more the intensity level you work at in the time given. So a high intensity session of say just 15 minutes, will have more impact than a long run at a steady state for 1 hour.  Not convinced...try this workout:

On any CV equipment of your choice or outdoors:

    Warm up for 5 minutes

Go hard for 20 seconds, and recover for 40 seconds x 15

    Cool down for 5 minutes.

If you do this properly, you'll want to crawl home!  You will also get the

added benefit of increasing your distance without much effort, should you still wish to do so."

  2. Walking the right way makes you healthier, more confident, and helps you walk easier and faster. By walking the wrong way, you may waste energy, look funny, or even hurt yourself. Leaning back or forward by more than five degrees can result in back pains because it keeps your back swayed. Relax your shoulders and keep your chin parallel to the ground. This may help you have a straight standing. I read about this at http://www.projectweightloss.com/index.p...

  3. The human body is not (much as many of us would like it to be) immune to the laws of physics.

If you expend more energy than you consume (in the form of food), then you will lose weight.  If you consume more than you burn up, you will gain weight.  It really is that simple.

So; exercise will help you use up more energy - but will only lead to weight loss if you do not compensate for this by eating more.
