  1. plenty.

  2. i don't know the correct answer but i do know it's not infinite because stars form from the material in outer space and the material doesn't renew it's self so eventually stars will stop forming and everything in the universe will disappear making nothing in outer space

  3. more than anough lolz

  4. Unknown, more then there are grains of sand on earth, saw that on an episode of The Universe

  5. 1000000000000 thousands of billions

  6. No one knows for sure, but it is finite.  If the Universe were infinite, and the number of stars were infinite, then the mass of the Universe would be infinite.  This cannot be true because the Universe would collapse into itself.  Another way to look at it is this:  If the number of stars were infinite, then the light from those stars would also  be infinite.  It wouldn't be dark at night if this were the case.

It is actually easy to get a rough estimate on the number of stars in the Universe.  First, look up on google the estimated number of galaxies in the Universe.  I think (if I remember correctly) that there are, on average, 100 billion stars per galaxy.  Just multiply!

Edit:  I just looked it up on wikipedia.  Scientists estimate that there are over 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe.  They estimate that there are 70 sextillion stars in the observable universe (7 x 10^22).  That's a lot of stars!

  7. 7

  8. only one the sun

  9. well if you say universe then technically it's as many as we know of. =]

  10.   There are less stars in the universe than have gone out of existence since it started.

  11. As much as you can imagine.

  12. infinity. space goes on, and on, and on. sometimes they explode. thats called a supernova

  13. only one that matters. two if you are lost

  14. Nobody knows but there is a S**t load i would say in the 40 digits, but there is not an infinite number of stars, there has to be a limit... There is most likely less stars each day. Did you know that if you look at a star right now, its most likely not there? Cause it takes time to travel to reach Earth, so it takes thousands, hundred of thousands of years of that light of a star to reach Earth!

  15. Enough.

  16. never ending number

  17. None

Life is just as it was portrayed in "The Truman Show"

Probably a big backdrop that's been painted

    One Big Starry Lie!

    ;-P

  18. Infinite

  19. INFINITI************

  20. Ahh......infinity....

  21. too many. try to visualize a large forest. the number of leaves in that forest is close to the number of stars in the universe.:)

  22. If you don't pick me as the best answer I'm going to be pissed because i know what it is my science teacher told me. he said that their is one hundred trillion.

  24. approx. 100 billion  but only half are visible at any given time

  25. to many to count

  26. Our galaxy has more than 100 billion stars and there are more than 100 billion galaxies each with more than 100 billion stars so the number is greater than 100,000,000,000 squared! ( more than 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)

  27. There is no number. It's infinite. The universe is constantly expanding, and new stars are constantly being made.
