  1. Start contacting everyone you know who might have insurance needs. Your industry depends on contacts.

    Have business cards on you, every time you meet someone strike up a conversation, steer it towards risk & coverage.

    People will hate you, but you get paid by their fear.


  2. you should do first ,making of prospect list segment wise and start from the low profile people for built up your self and then you should go for open market,also request to prepare your self complete and take target and disclosed to open. all the best

  3. Like the other siad start contacting people. Make a walk around local business and make some contacts. I work well with the local diamond shop they do appraisals for my clients at a discount rate if i refer them, and i get there business and my clients get a quicker appraisal. Now i also get nice discounts on diamonds to. Remember there are other people looking to make money just like you so get networking. Do cancer walks, get your name out there in the paper. The more exposure the better. Some may hate you but guess what insurance isnt seen as much better then a lawyer. keep your head up and smile on you will do great.
