  1. Carbonic acid is not a mixture.

Carbonic acid is a compound with the formula of H2CO3 which means that one molecule of carbonic acid contains:

    2 atoms of hydrogen

    1 atom of carbon

    3 atoms of oxygen

The weathering process does not have a specific rate.  There are several factors that determine the rate.  Those factors are:

    The temperature of the environment

    The humidity of the environment

The mound and speed of flowing water

The amount and acidity of rainfall

The type of substance being weathered

    The topography of the land

There are others.  If you need more, post that in the details section.

Generally speaking weathering takes tens to hundreds of years.  For example, Limestone is weathered through carbonation.  Limestone dissolves at an average rate of about one-twentieth of a centimeter every 100 years.
