1or2 bed room apartment rent,how much should I pay if I'm in korea?help me please!Im moving there nxt month!

My company has an opening in korea but they need to know by the end of this week if im taking it or not, I would realy love to see korea even just for a year,but I dont know if I can aford the rent and all.I have a little bit of savings but I'm not sure I should take a chance if I dont even know what rental go's for over there.I realy need help asap. thanks for any info.

It really depends on the area and the size of the apartment. For a 2 bedroom apartment I would figure about 600,000 KRW a month ($1=1,016KRW). The catch is the key money (deposit system is very different from the US system. You would probably have to put down 20,000,000 KRW for a deposit (or slightly over $20,000). You might want to find out if your employer will provide the key money for you.
