  1. (1+sec)/(1-sec) = (1+ 1/ cos) / (1- 1/ cos) = (cos + 1) / ( cos - 1)

  2. You are advised that your expression of the question is wrong.

"sec" is meaningless, you must write "sec(angle)" such as sec@.

You may use "@ " as an angle! In addition, you should write

"(1+sec@)/(1-sec@)" instead, because it has quite a different meaning.

    Proof: the L.H.S.=

    (1+sec@)/(1-sec@)=

    (1+1/cos@)/(1-1/cos@)=

    (cos@+1)/(cos@-1)=

    the R.H.S.

  3. take   (1+ sec) / (1 - sec)

            = (1+1/cos) /  (1-1/cos)  (since sec = 1/cos)

now take L.C.M and cancel cos in numerator & denominator

                 =  (cos+1) / (cos-1)
