2of my girl cousins are in 1st and 2nd grade. They are visiting me today and are expecting to have alot of fun. I normally have games and crafts planned for them, but this time I didn't have time to come up with all of that. They are also getting a little older and I don't know what they like doing now. Any ideas? Do you thinks that they'd be able to play wii sports at their age? What kinds of games and crafts would girls this age enjoy?

  1. Basic cooking (like making cookies with supervision), beading, any kind of art/craft project really. Fun games where everyone wins.

  2. I think wii sports would be fun for them, it's fun for everyone :) Also maybe they would like to try to bake something easy like sugar cookies that you can decorate really cool. Or they would probably like to make a necklace or bracelet or something like that. If you go to www.webkinz.com and click on the crafty critterz section they have TONS of awesome crafts, recipes, and games that are easy and fun to do! Hope this helped and I'm sure they will have lots of fun with you!! :)

  3. -play "house"

-Wii would work for a little bit

    -do a puzzle

    -hide and seek

-you could also do a scavenger hunt-inside or outside, depending on the weather. if outside, things about the senery, if inside, plan ahead and write different things on each of the girl's lists.

-play a board game like Cadoo (Cranium brand) if you have it

-how about for crafts, having them draw on shrinky dink paper with sharpie or colored pencils, and then shrink it in oven, then attach a magnet.

    -make foam picture frames

-if you can, go somewhere like the zoo or a children's museum.

Hope I Helped You!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!

EDIT: Just thought of some more ideas:

-Decorate cookies together with frosting and sprinkles

-make puppets and put on a show :D

  4. they like to make animals or put sparkles on things and they love to watch girly girl tv shows and yuo will be fine have fun

  5. if they like Hannah Montana and singing, you could help them put on a concert.

  6. Anything Hannah Montana, Littles Pet Shop or Bratz will work.  Wii games are good too.  Drawing, coloring or making art stuff works too.

  7. My daughter loves stickers.....I bought her a notebook and a bunch of stickers (they are so cheap!) and she has spent hours putting them in her "Sticker Book".  Also, drawing/coloring - I bought her scented markers and she LOVES them (you can get them at Target); putting makeup on; baking; and yes, they will love the wii!

  8. the 2 girls can play tag, swimming WII sports, playing with dolls, coloring i hope these r  good ideas

  9. Do some Karaoke with them, every1 loves jamin to music, also, wii sports would be very energetic for them, i think they would love it! Good Luck!

  10. They would probably like wii sports and maybe barbie dolls, but usually thats the time they grow out of dolls..  I would suggest maybe some board games or coloring as a backup for the wii sports.

  11. most kids that age just enjoy hanging out  with someone they view as cool because they are older.  I'm a mom of 6 y.o. twin boys, they love to play video games, even if they don't really understand how to play.

For crafts, you could print off colouring sheets, I'm 26 and i still enjoy colouring! or you could make a collage with old magazines; infact they are at a great age for you to talk to them about how all women regardless of skin colour or size, are beautiful - the collage could be about that.

You could bake something like cupcakes/muffins, or maybe you could make smoothies.

You could let them try on your clothes and put on a fashion show, take pictures.  Paint nails, do crazy hairstyles.

    Have fun!

  12. Wii might work for a while.  I would plan other things just in case.  Little girls might like hair and nail stuff.  Maybe even cooking something or just playing outside if the weather is good.  Good luck.

  13. wii sports-good idea(just try to pick the easier ones to play,I've played with a second grader who has some mental disorders and she beat me!(I'm 13)

    any cranium games-those are good

    drawing

drawing on pavement with chalk if its a nice day

build a fort with blankets inside and set up games and stuff

build a fort in the backyard if its a nice day(they might get a little imaganitive to-pirate ship, no boys aloud, that kind of thing)

    hope this helps

    have fun

    good luck

  15. Make a movie!

  16. thy would lov the wii my 7 yr old cuz does or playing dressup games on the computer

  17. my kids are 5 and 7 and they love sports! also, they love painting if you have any old paints around. something simple we just did if you have them for the whole day is we made a pinata...just blow up a balloon, mix some flour and water together to make a paste, tear up some newspaper and paste it on the balloon...we did 3 coats but 1 coat would be fine for a one day project...have them paint the newspaper, pop the balloon, fill with a few things and let them go at it!

  18. Puzzles, Bratz, Barbies, make up, dress up, coloring, baby dolls.
