  1. your periods are lighter when on the pill if you are really worried speak to your gp

  2. Why did your doctor give you anti depressants if you went to see him about your period? i would advice that unless you went specifically because you feel low, you don't take them! go and see another doctor for a second opinion on both your tablets & your bleeding. I had a c-section 4 years ago, & I remember my periods being irregular. The pill, in time should regulate them. Just make sure you have a 7 day break between packs for at least 3-6 months, until they get back on track.

As for the anti-depressants. It is common for women to get the baby blues after giving birth, you may feel tearful, useless, unconfident & a little bit resentful & not at all positive, but this isn't depression, & in time should lift. If you feel you truly are not yourself, you are feeling extremely resentful of your child, &/or you feel suicidal or extremely un-motivated, then you may have post natal depression & need those tablets. But, given the response of your last Doctor I would still see a different one to make sure they are the correct tablets for you, the correct dosage & to find out how you go about upping or decreasing the dose to suit.

  3. You need to see your Dr. again just to make sure everything is alright.
