  1. For the past 5 months i was collecting details regarding the syllabus and the schools.I am a parent who wants to shift to Chennai. If you r particular about sending your son for a job and wants him to score above 95% then bet er choose CBSE but what i prefer is ICSE because they do not teach only the academics but they teach the value of true education and the environment around us in a very likely way.For more details en quire the students studying in both the syllabus.Fee structure will be a little higher which varies according to the schools.Applications r given at the end of December till January end in most of the schools.Regarding the admission, get the phone no in the inquiry and ask the details directly.sorry i dint have a particular website, any how all the best.

  2. see cbse is a great thing to go with and almost all universities all over the world recognize that

so its better to go with cbse rather than icse and also cbse has got a better curriculum that icse

  3. Need nt b sorry, we can help you dear. See i suggest you to put your child in a very good school, say for Eg: New Horizon, Frank anthony public school etc, where he can complete his schooling, college as well as degree. One he goes to school, he meets lots of others at the same age itself. It is age for him where his mind grows with knowledge. Continuing ur kid in the same schol will help him a lot to mingle with others, & to study interestingly also.

I think these schools will have the syllabus of ICSE/CBSE. St. Joseph's is also a good school. Pls dont put in a boys, let him study as a co-head student itself ok.

I'm really not sure about the fee structure, my suggestion is that sit with your spouse decide which school (which is nearby to your house till he comes to 10th Std) discuss, go to the school's office confirm the fee structure, examination details, dress code & others & put him in that school ok.

I believe this information will help u to think a bit further & decide the best.

    Thanks,

  4. Hi, Kalai/Selvan.  You missed to tell the location where you want to admit your son.  Is it Chennai or Bangalore?  There is no dearth of schools that impart ICSE or CBSE either in Chennai or in Bangalore.  Now is the proper time to get your son admitted in first standard.  In Bangalore: St.Joseph's, Frank Anthony Public School, Delhi Public School, Deccan International School, National Public School, New Horizons, Bangalore Intenational School and a host of others that you can find in the yellow pages of Bangalore City.  In Chennai: Padma Seshadri School, National Public School etc.  I am not fully conversant about the list of such schools there.  You can find them in Chennai's Yellow Pages.  Good luck!

  5. Good God. Let your kid be a kid. What are you trying to do, turn him into an upper middle class automaton?

Send him to public school where he will learn about life and how to get along with people. Let him find what he is interested in and what he wants to do with his life. There will be plenty of time for education later. If you start this too soon, he will end up being a target for other kids who will hate him and beat him up.

Trust me, I was known as Poindexter throughout a good part of my youth because I was smart.

Didn't they cut the umbilical cord when he was born?
