1st time going snowboarding?

hey i am going snoboarding for the first time. what do i need to buy? what should i rent?

you need to buy a helmet and boots snowboard pants and snow jacket goggles etc.

if u aren't going to go snowboarding very often rent... if u plan on going alot buy

You need

Base layer like under armour

warmth layer, sweater or sweatshirt

outer layer snowboard pants and jacket (some people use waterproof coveralls.)  If you have ski outerwear, it will work as well.

waterproof gloves

Goggles or sunglasses

Highly recommend

helmet

pads (knee, elbow butt/hip, wrist guards)

neck gaiter or ski mask

skullcap

bandanna

iPod and headphones

Rent

Board

Boots

Bindings

go with the renting when first going up..

buy?... oh good water proof snowpants-mine are helli hanson and they are suuuper great i looove them.

long jons under or  i dunno i just wear jeans if its not too cold.

good gloves its better to spend more money and get a good water proof brand with them cause its worth it..trust me.

and goggles-brands? ehhh those don't matter.

and hat of course(:

oooh yes and good long warm socks!
