  1. watt is a measurement of electricity

    mile is distance

    could it be Milli watt =1000Milli watt

    or are you being clever that

    one mile is about one and a half kilometres and you meant

    1.5 kw

    watt?

  2. Do you mean 1watt = x milliwatts?

    1000 milliwatts = 1 watt

    : )

  3. 1 Watt= 1Joule/sek= 1Nm/sek

    mile watt must be a misspelling.

  4. Watts are units of POWER.

    Power is defined as the work (or energy) you can do in the amount of time, or:

    P = Energy/Time

    As energy is measured in jouls and time in seconds, 1 W=

    1 joule per second.

  5. 'milli' means 1/1,000th of something. Like milligram means 1/1,000th of a gram (0.001g). (1mg).

    1milliWatt = 1W / 1,000 = 0.001W = 1.0mW.

    1.0W x 1,000mW/W = 1,000mW.
