2-1 DVI Cable Switch? Two computers, One monitor..?

Is there any way I can use two computers and one monitor with a switch, like to switch between each of the cords? If so, please link and the price.. thanks!

  1. Normally you'd use what's called a KVM switch to share a Keyboard, Video, and Mouse. Those are easy to come by. You could probabaly find one that would just do video, and might be cheaper, but you won't have as many options.

Yes there is a way.  I just happen to have one that I got at a computer surplus store for a buck.  It's 3"H X 6"W X 4"D.  You can also find data switches and parallel switches too.  Just ask for a video switch.  I think Radio Shack has them too but I haven't seen the one near me carry them for a while.
