2 12" Alpine Type R's or 2 12" Alpine Type S'?

I want to get 2 12" subs no matter what, which is better type r or type s?

r is better they can take twice the power but they are more money and you will need a better amp and biger box

ahh well i got the type r's in a sealed box.. very happy with them..  id say get the type 'rs with 1000rms amp

they are alpine, they both suck. But no really the Type R line are one of the most power hungry speakers ever or subs in this case. If you can afford it go with the Type R's, keep in mind that an amp that will push them will cost a couple hundred dollars more on top of just how much extra you pay for the subs.
