Question:

2 Avon questions, please help!

I'm an Avon rep, and confused as heck! Are customers taxed before or after the order processing charge? Also, to spare me the $7.50 for having a website, I've registered and placed a small order. Now I've got 2 orders for the youravon site (mine from my store and the order for the brochures). Is there any way I can combine them, or I just have to suck it up and deal with the extra charges of an extra "customer"? Thanks!

  1. Sales tax is figured after the processing charge.

The two orders will ship together and the only extra charge to you is half the 75 cent processing charge you are charged per customer.

  2. Hi! I am NOT an avon rep, but AM in another network marketing business. I think what you're talking about is bonus buying (when one person, a rep, buys into the company as another customer) and it is my understanding that you'll be stuck with the charges of the extra "customer"

I don't think it is illegal, but it does kinda of add fluff to what you're actually bringing in in most cases. (again, this might not apply to you since I am NOT an avon rep, but this is my experience in my networking small business)

Good luck-that's just my 2 cents
