2 College Kids Taking a trip to Dominican Republic with Questions?

Me and a Friend have been trying to decide where to spend our money saved for a trip that was originally to europe but fell through. I next choice was Jamaica and now we have setteled finally on the Dominican Republic.

Does anyone know where the best party spots are which all inclusive resort would be the best choice in the Dominican.

Is Alcohol really cheap?

What advice could you give to two guys that just want to get crazy for a week. Like best spots and all.

Sosua or Cabarete would be great party spots for 2 guys on a tear.  AI's are good and inexpensive however  restrictions are always in place in that you would not be permitted to bring in unregistered guests.   You would be better to stay at a small hotel and there are lots of them at cheap prices. Rum is cheap.

Boca Chica is the party town. And it is full of single Dominican girls looking for guys like you. Hotel Dominican Bay is very reasonably priced. There is a great beach with a bar. It is very near SDQ airport.

Boca Chica, Cabarete, Las Terenas.  I would NOT book an all-in: the partying outside of the all-ins is much better, and you can find some really nice restaurants outside of the all-ins and eat what you want, when you want.  Booze is probably the same as in the US or a bit cheaper.

The place for you to be is Puerto Plata (ask anyone) Playa Dorada is excellent to party and the drinks are free (all inclusive resorts). Just ask your travel agent for this place he/she will info you!

I have booked college kids on trips to both Jamaica & the Dominican Republic this month , so I have some experise here . My personal favorite place is Jamaica , particularly Negril ; there is NO party vibe like Negril , Mon ! There are some good deals to both destinations at decent all inclusive resorts , with Puerto Plata , D.R. having the cheapest deals from the northeast right now ( I booked a group of 10 college kids at an all inclusive resort there for about $ 625 per person for a 5 day stay , they go next week ) .
