In addition to to ther question I was wondering is it possible to install 2 dual Alternators in my 2007 Scion tC. I am going to be running around 500 all the time, and want to make sure I have enough going out to keep up with my system.

  1. Haha, good luck! You cannot fit two alternators in that Scion, just get the most powerful alternator you can find, and leave the rest to Optima, Powermaster, Keneik, DC Sounds Lab, or Cactus Sounds. Hit up www.excessiveamperage.com for a good High Output Alternator...good luck to you!

  2. 500w RMS is not enough power to require a dual alternator setup.  You may be fine with the stock but it wouldn't hurt to just get a HO alternator for your car.  A single HO alternator would be much cheaper then trying to configure a dual alternator setup.

One upgrade I would do for sure if you are worried about power issues is the "big 3" upgrade.  More info is in the link below.

    Good Luck!!!

  3. 2 dual alternators would be 4 alternators... a scion tc engine wishes it even had the balls to twist 4 alternators and A/C and P/S and still have anything left to turn tires with.

but dual alternators on a new vehicle like that would be insane, like very difficult... buy some capacitors and/or optima battery(s) if you need more power.
