  1. 2 mb or gb?

A 2 mb card will let you take maybe 2-10 pictures depending on the quality.   New cameras often come with pathetically small memory cards.   You need to spend $50 - $100 to purchase a good memory card to go with the camera.

  2. Oh 2GB!!!

Make sure that your camera is using the memory from the memory card and not the memory (around 30 - 20 mb) that came with your camera.

You should be able to check this out by reading, the maneul that came with the camera, if it is in there google it, if google dosent help take it to the camera shop and let them sort it out

If they find that it is using memory card, you may have a faulty one which you can easily return and buy another one

i have a 2 GB Card and it on a clean memory, take 29 minutes of video and around 850 photos.

  3. If it's really 2 GB, then its virtually impossible that you aren't getting a 'lot' of pictures with it. I guess that depends on what YOUR definition of a 'lot' of pics is? Try setting it to 640x480 and see what happens! You should easily get a couple thousand pics  from that card at 640 x 480 with no real noticeable loss in image quality when making average 4x6 prints.

But, um, which is it? 2 MB, OR 2 GB? Do you even know which one? If not, take the card out and simply look at the thing. It will be quite easy to tell which one you have. BTW, I am yet another person who has not heard of a 2 MB card. A '32' MB card, yes, but 2? No...

  4. Just make sure you are not actually using the 32MB memory card that came free with your camera...because it only allows 15 images (at Large/Fine).

2GB is a good minimum capacity, which will allow approx. 600 high quality images (Superfine/Large).

High quality video, 8 minutes per 1GB.

p.s. always shoot at the highest resolution and least compression (Large/Superfine) if you want the best quality.

  5. I have never personally seen of heard of a 2mb memory card. The smallest I have seen is a 16 mb. Are you sure it isn't 2GB?

Either way...my 7.1 megapixel compact camera is giving me photos at about and average of 1.5mb per photo. therefor you could only get about 1 photo at high quality on this little card. However if it is a 2GB card then like me I am guessing you will be able to roughly around 1200 pictures at the highest quality. Lets hope you have a 2gb and not 2mb.
