    USA

  6. i say Gabriel Joseph cause you want your baby to be happy, and i like sebastien, but what happens when all the other kids find out that Sebastien is the name of a little red crab in a movie?! Gabe is a cute name and your baby will be really happy. US BABY!!!

  7. i prefer Gabriel Joseph... especially since you can shorten it to Gabe. Its human nature to give nicknames and this way you know you like it..

    Australia

    Good luck ;)

  8. I love the name Gabriel Joseph too.  I'm from the U.K.  Don't know anybody with the name Gabriel but I think it is a great name, and would be liked in Britain.

  9. I'm from the U.S. and I have to go with Sebastien but there is a nickname.

The origin is Latin and it means "Man from Sebaste."

Originally a place name for a town in Asia minor. Saint Sebastian was a third-century Roman soldier who was killed after he was discovered to be a Christian. First listed among the top 100 names in 2000. A literary name used by Shakespeare in the plays, "Twelfth Night" and "The Tempest." Also a character in "Brideshead Revisited" by novelist Evelyn Waugh. A top 10 name in Austria, Chile, and Denmark.

    NICKNAMES: "Seb"

    FAMOUS Sebastians

Sebastian Telfair (basketball player)  Sebastian Spence (actor)  Sebastian Janikowski (Polish football player)  Sebastian Coe (English Olympic medalist)  Guy Sebastian (Australian musician)

Hope this helps and have a Blessed Day, slowboy.

  10. I'm not fond of either of them but Sebastian Joseph is the better of the two.

    I'm from Ireland

  11. Gabriel Joshua

  12. I prefer Sebastien.

    (I'm from Canada)

  13. I would say Gabriel Joseph.  It's a beautiful name.  Sebastian just makes me think of the crab from the little mermaid.  Imagine how much your child might get teased about that.  I'm from the US

  14. Gabriel Joseph  <<<< i loveeeee that name!

2.the other sounds like a smart smart name

    and i'm from the u.s.

  16. I love them both.

Gabriel Joseph is a great name.

I would spell Sebastian like that though or like Sabastian. But still another great name.

I like Gabriel Joseph more though.

    US

  17. US Gabriel Joseph - I have a friend named Gabe and its the coolest name ever. Also, your kid will be teased if her is called sebastien

  18. I think Gabriel Joseph is a cute name! As for Sebastien, I like the name it's just that he would probably be made fun of. My daughter Aleese has a friend and her friend's little brother is named Sebastein and he is made fun of. (Little Mermaid) Anyways, I hope this helps.

  19. Gabriel Joseph. Very intelligent name. Im from the US!! =]

  20. Sebastien Joseph. I don't like Gabriel much because it's easily mixed up with the more popular feminine Gabrielle. Gabe is a cool nickname, though. Using Gabriel won't be a bad choice at all, just not one I would use.

Sebastien is a bit more trendy, but it's also a classic name with musical overtones. It will sound distinctive in a playground full of Jaydens and Caydens.

  21. Gabe is so cool!  Sebastien is hard to say--you couldnt shorten that. My husbands first name is Joseph-he always hated it, his middle name is Douglas.  Everyone has always called him Doug. From the good ol United States!  have a great delivery!

  22. Gabriel.

Please don't gp eith Sebastien..he will probably get made fun of because he has the same name as the crab from the Little Mermaid. Everywheres he goes, they'll be singing "Under The Sea"..not a good choice.

    I'm from Canada.

  23. Sebastien Joseph.  UK-London

  24. Gabriel Joseph, US

    Congratulations!

  25. I love Gabriel Joseph. Im a big fan of Biblical names. It's a very manly name and still cute for a child. It is a name that a boy can grow into a man and still have it fit. Sebastien always makes me think of the little mermaid, and it's hard for me to imagine the name on a grown man, but it's cute for a child. I LOVE the name Gabriel Joseph. Good pick and good luck! Im from the US

  26. I really like the name Gabriel Joseph! I am in Canada!

  27. I like the name Sebastien; such a strong name (both are quite regal names)

I know Gabriel Joseph flows better but I assume you won't be calling him Gabriel Joseph all day.  If I was permitted a second opinion I would refrain from Gabe if you went with Gabriel, it is such a great name without shortening it.

  28. unless your son is a crab-dont name him sebastien, gabe sounds like a g*y guys name but also a cute little blonde boys name--- i like these--adam, ryan , blake, conner but gabe is good too.

  29. I live in the US, and I definately like Gabriel Joseph better.  I think it has a more natural flow, and also I think that he'll like having a nickname like Gabe when he is older.  Good luck!

  30. I like Sebastian better :)

    - Avalon from Canada

  31. I'm from the USA! I am not a huge fan of either, but If  I had to choose, I would say Sebastian!

Good Luck with your baby : )
