2 Questions about the Olympics?

1. Why doesn't the IOC allow athletes to write blogs while the olympics are going on?

2. What happens to all of the equipment once the olympics are over?(the apparatuses for gymnastics, the hurdles, the batons for the relays, everything!)

2. Up to the government who hosts the games - as it is there equipment. They could send it to training facilities - or keep the complexes as is for training athletes etc.

2. I think they put all the stuff on a plane and wait 4 years to fly it to the next Olympics city. But thats just my theory. :)
