Question:

2 Races in One Day?

I read that Marco Andretti is going to race in both Connecticut for the American Le Mans Series and in Nashville for IndyCar on the same day. Apparently he is going to fly to Connecticut after qualifying in Nashville on Friday for the ALMS race, then fly to Nashville right after the ALMS race on Saturday to race for IndyCar that same night. Is he going to be able to pull this off?

  1. No one's tougher than a race car driver.

  2. Considering that AGR just announced signing Franck Montagny for the #26 ALMS seat, the plan to give Marco a double shot may be off.

  3. Absolutely.  NASCAR drivers do 2 or 3 races a weekend like this quite often.  Marco is still young as well.  He'll be ok ma'am.  Don't forget he can sleep in between on the flights.
