I have a d link wireless router that drops alot even when i have things plugged into it. Ive configured it but no luck. Im gonna configure it more soon. But i have a older D link router, DI 604 that use to NEVER drop. Can i hook them both up to 1 connection in my room somehow? And use the old router for my desktop PC and the other wireless one for my other stuffs. Is that possible? If so, give me the steps to do it. i hope i don't need additional equiptment to do it. Let me know right away and thanks. also, let me know if that wont interfere with my connection in a bad way to. thanks again.

  1. If you only have on physical connection, well then it's just one.  There is no splitting a cable in two to plug it into two routers.
