  1. Because they can. Most peeps don't want to go to far off the interstate once they're on it.


  2. It's that pesky free market thing. Don't you hate it? Next thing you know the government will tell you how much you can sell your house for so you can only make a certain profit. Besides, in my town, the farther you are from the freeway, the more gas costs.
