Question:

2 Starting QBs League?

I have never been in a 2 starting QB league, this year will be the first.

My question is, would it be smart to draft 2 of the top tier QBs? Like, Brady, Manning, Romo, and Brees. Probably would have to draft them with a 1st and 2nd round pick. I wouldn't think of doing this if I had a top 3 pick, but I am considering it after LT, AP, and Westbrook are gone.

Should I do this?

  1. last year i drafted favre and peyton manning. they were unstoppable

  2. You wanna pick the QBs who get alot of yarsd and touchdowns, who have good receivers to catch for them, a decent line and who do not through many interceptions.  Brady and Manning (Peyton) would be great, but it will be hard to obtain both, as they will go quick.  Also look towards Phillip Rivers and David Gerrard. Favre is another one to look out for as well

  3. it really depends on the scoring in your league

for the most part custom private leagues tend to inflate a qb's score more than an rb's.........so i would actually go for Brady, Romo, Brees, but be weary about Manning especially after surgery, running backs are good but they are not as useful, so pick 2 qb's first

  4. It of course depends on the scoring in your league but...

If you can get some combination of those 4 you should probably do it.

The qb run will probably last for a bit because if you have a 12 man league the 9th-12th ranked qbs are like Rivers/Eli/Cutler,  I don't know if there are 24 draftable qb's in the league so theres not much room for backups for bye weeks and I'm almost certain drooling over Alex Smith at or before round 8 is some kind of sanity litmus test.
