  1. You need to buy a video switch: One input multiple outputs.

You can buy switches for component, s-video, or composite and they include audio ports as well.

  2. There are many ways to do this, but it all matters on what your connection is

Some DVD players have dual outputs (I have one that does), one video source can go to one television and one can go to the other, it's usually labeled as "out 1" and "out 2", or just a "1" and a "2"

Some DVD players have an S-Video port on them, so you can take the video from the S-Video and go to one television and take the video from the composite (yellow) and go to the other television, then for audio, you can either choose a television for your audio, or if you have a secondary audio output you can have that go to the other television, or you can cut the stereo wires and do what I will explain below for splitting a video source

On very few DVD players, they may have a coax out, take the coax out and connect it to a splitter, have one go to one television and one go to the other, then just change the televisions to channel 3 or 4 (depending on the video out settings)

For DVD players that only have one output, you will need to do some work on the video cables itself and make composite Y cables, you need 2 sets of composite cables that you don't mind cutting up, and on each cable, you will need to strip the casing on the inner and outer wires (there's and outer casing, copper wire, inner casing, copper, kind of like a target), for each color (yellow, red, white)you will want to twist all the outer copper wire together and all the inner copper wire together, and make sure the inner and outer don't touch, so you should of made 6 different connections with a total of 9 different wires, yellow positive, yellow negative, red positive, red negative, white positive, and white negative, each having 3 wires twisted together, now tape them all together using electrical tape, connect one end to the DVD player, and the two other ends to the 2 televisions, put both televisions on it's video in setting, and each television should share the same composite out connection

  3. it needs to have dual outputs, like a HDMI and scart or two scarts something of that nature. I have it done with 2x 21" Samsung Plasma's.
