Kyle Palmeiri (Anaheim Ducks)
Kyle Palmeiri is an American professional ice hockey player who plays for Anaheim Ducks in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Drafted by Ducks in the 2009 NHL Draft, in the first round at 26th, 21-year-old right winger made his NHL debut in the 2010-2011 season and scored one goal in first ten games.
The Smithtown, New York native played 18 games last season and scored 4 goals and 3 assists for total of seven points. Pretty much more can be expected from him in years to come.
Dougie Hamilton (Boston Bruins)
Dougie Hamilton, a 19-year-old Canadian is one of the top Boston Bruins’ prospects. He is currently playing for Niagara IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) but his performances clearly have shown that he has a lot of potential and could be playing
NHL soon.
Selected in the top 10 of 2011 NHL Draft, at 9th overall in the first round, Hamilton also won a Bronze Medal with Team Canada in the World Junior Championships 2012 and is one of the best players coming up.
Mikhail Grigorenko (Buffalo Sabres)
Among the top 12 picks of the 2012 NHL Draft, which was held this year few months ago, Mikhail Grigorenko from Russia is a very talented player, who is a top prospect of Buffalo Sabres.
Silver Medallist with Team Russia in the 2012 World Junior Championship and Bronze Medallist in the last year’s under-18 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships, 18-year-old centre has been a very high scoring player in both championships.
He currently plays for Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and scored 40 goals, 45 assists and 85 total points in the 59 games he played last year.
Sven Baertschi (Calgary Flames)
Swiss ice hockey player, who plays for Calgary Flames in the NHL could be one big name in the international hockey as the 20-year-old is progressing very fastly.
After starting his hockey career at the age of 15 in the home country, Baertschi, who celebrated birthday few days ago moved to America two years later and joined Western Hockey League (WHL).
After showing some great performance in two years at the minor league, he was drafted in the first round of the 2011 Draft by Flames and made his debut in the same year. He scored 3 goals in first 5 games.
Ryan Murphy (Carolina Hurricanes)
Another first round pick of the 2011 NHL Draft, Canadian hockey player, Ryan Murphy is associated with Carolina Hurricanes as he was drafted 12th overall and is currently the captain of Kitchener Rangers in the OHL.
He has been a very high scoring player since getting drafted 3rd overall in the 2009 OHL Bantam Draft and has scored 172 points in 174 games since then.
19-year-old player will surely be seen playing in the NHL for Hurricanes and he can be expected to become one of the greats of Carolina.
