I don,t really like any of them, they are too commercialized.  Can't you go with something your child likes such as fire trucks or cars and go with that as your theme instead?  Just an idea, I think the commercialized stuff is cheesy!!

I would do the Disney Cars.  You could make the diffrent cars out of cardboard boxes for the kids to play with and have races.  If you have an outside party you could set up a place and have a race track that the kids can also play with.  There are so many things you could  with the cars theme and with the other ones you are kida limited.

however ask the child what they want by showing them the plates on the floor and say pick one

with my daughter i do the pick one of two then change the one she didnt want with another and do the same thing till you are out of themes (print pictures of these)

disney cars os cut me little cousin did it  and it is adorable my next choice would be elmo or sesame street doesn't matter but not the backyardigans they are kind of creepy

Personally, I prefer the the backyardiagains is a great idea such it is such a postive show that supports creative thinking. You can also make fun games that take after the show that I think everyone would like to either play in or watch.

My 20 month old grandson would prefer The Backyardigans.  That show holds his attention much more than Sesame Street, Cars, and Elmo.  He also likes Mickey Mouse Club House, Pinky Dinky Doo and Oswald.  For his 2 year birthday, I think my daughter is doing a Mickey Mouse Theme.

I have a lot of brothers and sisters, most of them have children whos ages range between 1 and 8 with a daughter of my own who is 4. That being said, they all like the Disney Cars movie, and all of them love to play with those set of toys when they come over. So I would have to say Cars.

I like the Backyardigans best. I was gonna do that them for my sons 2 year old party too, but didn't. When I was looking around for Backyardigan party stuff, I found the only place I could find the Backyardigan stuff, was on the Internet. The Wal-mart, and Party City around here didn't carry Backyardigan stuff. The Cars stuff is easier to find at party stores, then the Backyardigans. But, they do have a very cute Backyardigans cake at Wal-mart.

Sesame Street probably has the most options as far as "theme".  You can pick a variety of the characters, including Elmo.  Save Cars for when they're older, that works then too.  My sons are 4 and 7 and still like cars.  Never really been a fan of Backyardigans, but I hear it's pretty popular with the younger kids now.  I just think Sesame Street and be expanded so much with the different characters.

what is your 2 year old's favourite??  best way to find out is to get a picture of each one and lay them down on hte table or floor. show them the pictures and see which one gets the biggest reaction.  for sure they will be delighted when they find a whole room decorated with it!!
