  1. No, because they are in diffrent subnetwork.


  2. The correct answer is it depends on how they are connected. The term LAN is used too broadly here.

    1) If they are connected using a plain old network hub they will communicate, as they will be seeing each others arp packets and will know the respective ip / ethernet address mappings.

    2) If they are connected using an unmanaged switch they will not communicate as they will not know about each other and switch does not do a broadcast.

  3. no!!! all computers should be the member of same subnet  or you can use router  to communicate or you can add another ip of same subnet of the other computer.
