2 days in chennai..?

hey guys..

what plans for a total two day trip in chennai.. what are places worth going to and the decent hotels here...

There are lot of places to visit in chennai, u need to shorlist them based on ur intrest...

Shopping Malls: Spencers, City Centre, T.Nagar, etc

Beach: Marina, Besant Nagar, Light house,.....or private beaches like Fisherman Cove, Temple Bay, Chariot Resort, (Private beaches are near Mahabalipuram)

Temples: Mylapore, Astha lakshmi temple, Vadapalani Murugan temple

Theme Parks: MGM, Kishkintha, Queensland, Little Folks (for kids)

Zoo/Musuem: Egmore Museum, Vandalur Zoo, Crocodile Park, Snake Park, Birla Planetorium (not sure if ppl are allowed inside now)

cool says take hotels near the stations

if u ve 2 catch train from chennai central then go to hotel picnic

if u want to catch train from egmore then thr r many gud lodges which r not costly

u cannot travel all the places in just 2 days

thr r many places to go

can go to MGM its a bit far but a lovely place

spencer plaza is excellent

golden beach,marina beach etc........

I highly suggest the Accord Metropolitan hotel in Chennai. It is gorgeous and very accomodating. Also, their service was impeccable. They can arrange reliable, safe and cost-effective transport for you.

As for an outing, I recommend the Snake Park. There's a variety of different reptiles, as well as a show that you can attend.

Also, for the beach, avoid the public beaches - from my experience, they were quite dirty and crowded. A great place to go enjoy the sand, the ocean and great food is the MGM Resort of Fisherman's Cove.
