2 different Motorcycle Racing answers threads?

Question

Do you think it would be a good to ask the mods at Yahoo to set up another thread for all off road related questions and one for road/tarmac based racing questions.

This way the MX dudes would not have to search through all the road questions and vice vercer.

Good idea?

I would love to have both.  The only problem I see with having multiple sites is lossing the information and perspective that comes from multiple riding backrounds.  I have seen great answers from people like 51 who has a road backround.  It gave a perspective that I, as a dirt rider, never thought of.  Sometimes the overlap can be good.

I think what mkdirty said was a good answer, though you do see a lot of questions that have little interest to you if you follow road or sportbike racing, you also see some interesting questions (and answers) about riding techique, equipment, engine mods. and general useful to know stuff too.

So whilst I would like to see more "road" questions and answers it doesn't bother me to look through a few Q's that aren't about what I most enjoy. There are enough other online racing forums if I feel the urge to have more opinions about a racing topic.

That said what does get my panties in a bunch is people who put questions in the wrong forum and then don't bother to move them when you point it out to them. Or don't clarify what their question is, so you have to click in to it to see if it's something you might be interested in. Or really baaaaad grammer and too much punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then there's people who spit in the street, or pick their noses in the car ('cos they think they're invisible I guess?) people shouting on their mobile phone and not saying anything ineresting either, oh and one thing that really bugs me is when idiots veer off subject for a rant about all the little things in life you just shouldn't sweat! hee hee hee!

I wish they would take down the non racing questions in the racing forum

and yes the motorcrossers do need their own forum
