  1. Bryophytes (examples are moss, liverworts and hornworts)are nonvascular plants that undergo reproduction through the use of spores.

    In the other hand, the seedless vascular plants you are referring to are the Pteridophyta, or the ferns. Like bryophytes, they also use spore to reproduce.

    Both of them also rely on water during reproduction, that's why they live near water sources (because the water aids for the male sperms to travel to female because sperms swim).

Bryophytes and ferns (seedless vascular plants) both have flagellated sperm so they need water to reproduce.  Also both types of plants have chlorophyll a, store excess energy as starch, they undergo photosynthesis, the grow from an apical meristem.  That should be a good number of similarities.
