  1. They obviously weren't playing against eachother.


  2. It's only possible if they are playing other people.

  3. They were playing other opponents and they scored higher.

  4. They are not playing each other. If it said '2 guys play chess together' then we would all be like 'duhhhhh'

    they play there 5 games with 2 diffrent people who are not the guys you are talking about.
