I am 21 years of age, and very ambitious. I have been doing alot of reading and research so that I could invest in stocks. Now I realize I am young, and may lack the experience I may need to be as successful as I could be if I did have the experience. I have read many cases of successful entrpenuers who, while they where learning the ropes, had this great "mentor" that guided them throught there young years. Does anyone have any suggestions on how could I possibly find my "mentor" (if thats not too much to ask for) or even a book club or even a group of young ambitious investors as myself???????????

  1. Mentors...reminds me of Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Warren Buffett...the icons of this era.

Yes, a mentor is key to your success. When you start going to seminars and attending workshops on investing, joining communities which share a common interest with you, you'll eventually come across someone who is an expert in the field (who has yet to become successful or renowned) that you can look up to and confide in.

I bid you luck in finding your mentor :D

  2. Let's get it started right now. Just let me know what you expect from a mentor and maybe i can be one for you...Good luck (frank_oneil2003@yahoo.com)

  4. If you want to get rich, study what rich people have done.

Two names in particular that come to mind:

    Warren Buffet

    Dave Ramsey

Google and Wiki both of their names, and see what comes up.

  5. You can join an investment club.  Everyone pools their money and researches and buys stocks together.  Try www.better-investing.org -- the National Association of Investment Clubs, I believe.
