my gf has naturally frizzy, thick, wavy hair. Wouldt be better for her to use a 2 in 1 shampoo+ conditioner along with another conditioner? Would that add more moisture, shine, and get rid of the frizzies? She is planning on using products from the herbal essences line.

  1. Double conditioning would make her hair look oily.  Tell her to try Frizz Ease hair serum, Dove Intense Damage Therapy shampoo & conditioner or Tresseme Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner.

  2. I use sunsilk! It works great with my frizz. Double conditioning WILL help!

  3. There is dove moisterizer shampoo that is really good , and there is a leave in conditioner that smoothes your hair , it is called pink oil , you can look it up online , it makes your hair really soft. Gets rid of frizzies after a few uses.

  4. I use Zero Frizz hair serum on my frizzy mop. It's the same this as Frizz Ease but a lot cheaper. You can buy it at WalMart. As long as she uses moisturizing conditioner, she shouldn't have to use 2 in 1. Personally, I don't really care for 2 in 1's.

  5. make sure she doesn't get it in her eyes! doesn't feel to great! i think it works pretty nicely

  6. No, first of all because you have frizzy, curly hair you shouldn't be washing ur hair every day. That 2-1 deal is not good. get a good shampoo and conditioner. I have used pantene, check for the hair type.

When u rinse the conditioner always leave a little on your hair, dont rinse it all out. If you wet your hair daily u can use conditioner, but dont shampoo everyday.

Look for creams to moisterize ur hair too like the Shine products that helps my daughter and i

  7. i think that might just make her hair greasy

i would just get a shampoo that is meant for controlling frizz, and use mousse or some anti-frizz serum/leave in conditioner afterwards.

  8. that might make her hair kind of greasy looking.

she could try a mosture hair mask type-thing

  9. Don't use 2 in 1. Curly hair requires different care than straight hair in order for it to maintain its natural health. Curly hair does not require washing everyday and will benefit from an occasional break from chemicals and heat. Curly hair should be deep conditioned every time it is washed, and people with dry, curly hair should avoid styling products that contain alcohol. Proper attention to hair care will improve the over all health and manageability of curly hair

  10. No.. using 2 in one shampoo  n conditioners strip your hair out and make it really dry and just doesn't work as good as they do seperately.. So to make it more soft and all it' better to just shampoo her hair and put in the cinditioner and just leave the conditioner in for an hour or even more.. I sometimes leave on a hair mask for days.. just don't put too much on the roots. If you do that atleast twice a week or whenever she washes her hair that should do it x

  11. It wont get rid of frizzies---but it will look more moisturized if she follows with a conditioner (thats what I do).  If she has a problem with frizz, there are tons of products out there to help or going over hair with a straightener also helps.
