    Anyways, an esterification reaction occurs, giving the ester 2-methyl-2-propyl acetate. Remember - just convert the alcohol name to a radical name and the acid into the anion. Simply remove hydrogen from the hydroxyl group of the alcohol and remove hydroxyl from the carboxyl group of the acid.
