May 7th was my first period and I still haven’t received it yet. First I thought it was coming regularly but it never came. 2 weeks after having my period may 7th I started spotting for 3 days and I had a little lump/pain by my left ovary and then after a week the lump/pain went away. Was that a sign that something is seriously wrong?

  1. you might want to go to doctor, but as far as not starting your period, couple things could of happened,

    *your overly stressed

    *you lost significant weight

*something significant happened and your trying to cope...

Big life changes sometimes can affect your period, but as far as having pain, thats something you might want to go get checked out, even though you said that it went away.

  2. Probably not, especially if you drink a lot of caffeine. Tea, coffee, and especially sodas can cause lumps called cysts.

In saying that, you should get yourself to a doctor asap. There are some serious problems with sympoms you give and only a doctor can say for sure. Go to doctor, clinic, or hospital if nothing else and get it checked out. Do not wait. If there is something, you don't want to make it worse by waiting. Good luck and God bless.

  3. May 7th was your first period ever?  Don't worry it could take years for your period to get on a normal schedule and for some women (including myself) it never is predictable.
