2 negative pregnancy tests but all the symptoms?

I'm irregular with my period. My last one was June 28th. (normal for me, i can go 2 months without it.) My husband and I had s*x in the beginning of August without condoms. I've had two negative tests but I'm having all of the symptoms:

Nausea

Sore b*****s

Diarrhea

Nosebleeds

Hunger with nausea

Abdominal Pain

Sensitivity to smells

Moodiness

Lower back aches

Cramping with no period

Flu like symptoms/chills/shortness of breath.

Just looking to see if anyone else experienced this. I already made an appointment with the gyno and I know I could have tested to early but my problem is that I don't know when it's due.

  1. Honey, what the mind thinks, the body will feel. You obviously want to be pregnant, but if the tests are negative, then they are negative. 2 as well.

You are thinking about symptoms of pregnancy, so your feeling them. Its common, and not just for pregnant mums.

I studied psychology and subjects were told they were given a medicine, to make them sick. (it was a sugar pill)  and they were vomiting, fainting, fevers... and all sorts...it stopped when they were told it was a placebo.

Brain is doing this to you. Good luck for the future and have lots more s*x if a baby is what you want!

  2. OK - these are not symptoms of early pregnancy:

    Diarrhea

    Nosebleeds

    Abdominal Pain

    Lower back aches

    Flu like symptoms/chills/shortness of breath

The rest are - but they're also symptoms of PMS.  All you can do is wait a while then take another test.  Negatives can quite often be false, but a positive very, very rarely is.

  3. Just because you are experiencing these symptoms doesn't mean that you are with child. Sometimes we can make our mind believe whatever we want. Careful now that doesn't mean you can't be with child. You could have tested to soon the best way to find out if you are is to have the doctor take a blood pregnancy test that's how I found out. To be honest everyone don't experience the same symptoms so I can't really tell but that's great you want to make sure because there could be something that's more severe. Not having a period is not the best thing yet it might be great to not have the flow but it's not the best thing for the body.

  4. Some tests don't detect the pregnancy hormone right away especially if your using a cheap test or your body dosn't happen to produce a lot of the hormone. What I would suggest is wait two weeks and try again or failing that go to a doctor and ask them to perform a test as theirs are much more reliable and acurate then home tests.

As far as knowing when you are due a quick dating scan to check the baby's size will tell you how far along you are and when you are due.

    Good Luck.
