I've read that you should with hold food and water for a couple days and force them to molt, or is it still too early for that? Should i just leave alone and see what happens for force them to molt? And what about my other 2 ducks that have already started? If i do with hold food and water how do i do it to two ducks and not the others? HELP!

  1. Are the other two a different breed?age? Were the pairs introduced after chickhood?

If none of the above, then wait for a few weeks and then try forcing them to molt.

  2. no offence i don't see your problem, there is no problem....

Ducks, chickens and geese will moult when they are ready not when you want them to,...

    I mean what's the  rush , .. none,

each indivdual duck/chicken/goose molts at their own pace and time.. some willl molt quicker/faster then others... .

so this is bascially normal , I mean my geese atr all moulkting at the moment..

( I have 8). and 5 of them have lost the feathers and are starting to grow new ones,

whereas the other 3 are just STARTING to lose ... see ..

totally normal.... i just feed as normal and let them get on with it the same when my ducks and chickens molt too.

    just leave them be ...

just feed them as normal... why the h**l would you stop feeding them to encourage them to molt?

Only commercial farms with battery hens do that just so they will be laying quickly again....

and btw they only stop feeding them they don't stop water...

holding water for 3-4 days like you said will KILL them

there is no need to force molt ,... so don't do it.
