  1. griffey

  2. I vote Pujols (sorry, he's option C):

  3. Tony Gwynn or Rod Carew.

Ok, ok...I suppose the Griff, as I believe he's a touch more selective.

Which is ironic with regard to ol' #19 above, who'd swing at anything

    in the zipcode.

(And still, either of my picks could've hit .301 career if blindfolded!)

  4. Depends on the pitcher.  If it's a tough lefty like Billy Wagner than I'd take Thomas (bats 50 points higher than Jr. vs LHP).  If it's a right handed pitcher gotta go with Junior.

  5. as of right now u gotta give it to griffey he can still play thomas is too old  and wont be handle that pressure like he used to

  6. griffey jr      if he never got injured he would destroy tht home run record

  7. Thomas hands down... Jr. has lost so much bat speed it isn't even funny.

I know...Thomas has lost bat speed as well, but he can still mash.

  8. Ken Griffey. Can hit more pitches than thomas. Like Thomas can only bomb em if he gets his hands extended.

  9. Junior

  10. Ken Griffey JR Definitley Thomas has been 0-4 or 0-5 5 times this year at least

  11. Jr. goes for a hit. Thomas, homer or strikeout.

  12. Chipper Jones or Ichiro. You don't need a power hitter just hit for contact

  13. I don't know who or whom the Hall of Fame will decide is a Hall of Famer among those who could be eligible and are still playing.

Otherwise, among all active players, I would want Albert Pujols at bat with the bases loaded, as he combines a great BA with a marvelous Slg. %

  14. Ken Griffey Jr

    1) Griffey is a better hitter

    2) Griffey is a faster runner

Frank Thomas may not be a HOF

  15. Griffey Jr... because Thomas is just plain getting fat and has lost alot of bat speed... retire!!!

  16. What like now are in their prime (doesn't really matter my answer would be the same, just prime makes it a little tougher of a decision), but the answer would be Junior.  During his career he has been one of the more clutch hitters (except in the playoffs) with runners in scoring position and even better with two outs.  Frank Thomas has always been one of those hitters  who always goes for the home run and until recently it's worked for him, but with his diminished bat speed and injuries as of late it's time for him to retire and just say goodbye to the sport.

  17. If this 2 outs scenario is during their prime...GRIFFEY!

  18. Ken Griffey Jr.
