2 part Poll: Can you float in water? Do you get back pain?

I'm interested to see if there is a link between not being able to float and back pain.

  1. I can float in water with a large lung full of air - without the use of my arms and legs I hang vertically in the water.

    I don't suffer from backpain when doing it if that is what you are asking but I do have a number of complaints that occur regarding my back from time to time.


  2. You can float in water and in theory it shouldn't hurt your back because it takes all the pressure and strain of your back. There are many rhab pools for people that have been in terrible accidents or suffer from a disability who use pools to gain strength and movability back due to the fact you are weightless to an extent in a pool
