2 periods every month?

Question

i first got my period a month before my 13th birthday. i am now a month 16. they were regular up to 3 months ago. i was a week late in june. then i got two periods in july and two in august.

any idea whats wrong?

oh yeah, i had s*x in may and i had blood tests taken about 5 months ago which shows the possible signs of haemochromatosis.

please help

This can be normal sometimes while the body is still trying to adjust to what's going on.  It can take about 2 or 3 years to fully adjust to the changes.  This may be what's going on right now although you had some regularity for a time but this is just an example only.

Sometimes stressing about something (regardless of whether the thing causing the stress was good or bad) can also alter the cycle causing something like this to occur (another example only).

I have had it happen to me twice before but I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on the situation.
