  1. This situation has occured in eastern US. It is well documented and fascinating. But you're going to have to do your own homework because I can't remember the name of the book, and I'm not going to tell you answer because that would spoil the surprise.


  2. i think divergent  coz the mountain will separate them and by like million of years they might change in so many ways then each other ,if counting the environment changes and so much more so they will grow apart differently

    Divergent would refer to two distinct areas while they are MOVING away from each other but this implies the mountains are constantly still.
