2 positiove tests with first response and negative test and the doctors?

I am two weeks late and done two pregnancy tests with first response 6 days early and got two positives but went to the doctors today and it was negative can you tell me if first response would be more sensative than doctors please advise me on your view of this as confused I am sooo happy do you think that I am indeed preggo but not showing on doctors test yet

I just went through a chemical pregnancy a few weeks ago...try looking it up on google.  Hopefully this isn't what happened to you but it's worth a look just incase.  

Were the 2 first response tests part of a 2 test kit (in same box)?  They are usually not wrong but it's always a small possibility that the test was defective and both could have been because the whole batch was defective.  Now I doubt this but I don't know why else this would happen.  I do know for sure that the tests the doctors and hospitals use are no better than any other, they're probably even cheaper, due to the amount they use.  I would just go to the dollar tree and get a test for $1.  I'm assuming that by now you are not 6 days early anymore?  Well, at a dollar, you can do more than one if neccessary.  Good luck, hopefully the doctor's test isn't as sensitive as the first result ones!!

It is possible that if the doctor did a urine did test that it was not as sensitive as first response. Or that the urine was not first morning urine and therefore wasnt containing a concentrate enough amount of hcg to show up.

However a blood test isnt wrong.

If you had a a blood test after 2 BFP it could have been/be a chemical pregnancy.

I hope you are pregnant. Please let us know which test the doctor did and the outcome of the sitiation.

i think that the doctors one would be more accurate (sorry to say)

they do it with blood to it should be more sensitive.
