2 positive home tests, one negative blood?

Question

took one home test bc i felt pregnant (you know naseaus, not hungry, stomach pain) and it came back clearly positive, went to doc and blood work came back negative, two days later took another home test and positive. I am usually regualr and am 11 days late for period now, I havent had any bleeding, spotting anything. My husband is going to the field for a month so we're trying to figure it al out before he leaves. has this happened to anybody?

Yes,it happened to me. You can have false positive tests. In my case it was a medicine I was taking, but  ovarian cysts and other cases can be the reason also. I would check out reputable web sites, like WebMD.com, and see what they say. I would definitely go back to the Dr as well if you don't start soon. Good luck and my best to you and your husband.

Definitely... It happened to my sister in law! She had took 3 home test that were positive and  4 blood test and 3 of them were negative and 1 was positive! The Doc's didn't know y they were getting negative blood test! d**n them -->(Kaiser Permanente) But all is well she had a little girl Zoe :) Congrats your a soon to b momma :) welcome to my world...

to be honest i have never heard of this situation...for your home preg test to register a positive it means that the pregnancy hormone HCG was found at a detectable level in your urine...you must be pregnant to produce any level of this hormone...but the blood test is the most accurate way to test for pregnancy...this is so conflicting. i would wait and see...perhaps schedule another blood test in a few days time to see what happens

it could be a chemical pregnancy, or maybe you should go back to the doctors, and make them give u an ultrasound

go to your docs and ask for a new blood test and for them to do a urine test. or try another doc office, you can go to a community center or planned parenthood. GL and also to your husband.
