2 positive home tests 1 week before expected period?

Question

i have an 8 month old son and my husband agreed we did not want another child until our son was in school. i have been on the pill religiously since his birth. i had been feelin a lil nauseated lately so i took a home test this mornin and it was positive, i took a 2nd a few hours later and ot the same results. however my period isnt due till the 30th. when i told my husband he got upset and left for a while. someone please help. could i really be pregnant?

you really could be.. unless your still nursing or just finished leftover hormones could cause a faulse positive

I would say you definitely go to the dr for a blood test just to be sure. Good Luck!

It sounds like you are. Two positive tests is a high possibility. You don't see many false positives, let a lone 2 in a row.

I've never heard of a false positive. The hormone BHCG must be present for it to test positive and that's present when you are pregnant.

There are false negatives, but not usually false positives....

you could be pregnant. see your doctor for a blood test.
