No matter what you may have considered the failures resulting in the wake of Katrina there is another possibility you appear not to have considered. This is that the Republicans are not going to drop the ball again in the same city and especially not during their national show. They will actually over-react. If you doubt this then you need to actually take time to see exactly what is happening in New Orleans in preparation of the storm as we speak.

No.  I would imagine that the 'all powerful Obama' is behind it.  After all, he can perform all kinds of miracles like 'fixing Washington".  I'm sure if he can do that, a few hurricanes would be no problem.
