  1. I'm going into 8th grade and I go to K12 also(Wisconsin Virtual Academy).  I've been going there sense 4th grade.  You're supposed to attend everyday like a normal school.  But as long as you get all your work done for that week your good.  I try to continue on so I get done with school sooner.  This school is free.

    Hope I helped,

  2. 1. You don't attend online school-your assignments are done on the computer and turned in online. it's considered by many people to be independent study.

    2. K-12 and Connections Academy have free public school homeschool options in many states. Check here http://takecontrolofyoureducation.blogsp...

  3. K12 schools are the best, they have fantastic curriculum. You attend 5 days a week but you can do 4 and do weekends and make your own schedule.

Many online charter schools are popping up all over. Many of them are now using k12 products. k12 schoolsare good for many reasons. Each student is given a placement test and then given individualized curriculum based on his or her individual needs. With the help of online charter schools today, homeschooling can be much easier than it used to be. They provide you with everything you need, a computer, a printer, books, supplies, and teachers that you can both email and call for help and assistance. This is free and there are no charges. Online schools are definitely becoming a way of the future for the children in generations to come.

Going to an online school is no different than going to a traditional public school or a private school. They graduate with a real diploma the same as any school. My son graduated from an online charter school and now attends a private university (University Of Dayton) with scholarships. They will also help you with making sure that all state required tests are done yearly and proficiencies are completed for graduation.

  4. If you're doing an online *public* school, you'll most likely have a Monday to Friday schedule that's required by the school.

If you're talking about doing *private* online school, then you'll have more freedom in your schedule and may not have to "attend" daily.

If you use a virtual public school, it's "free" - typical public school fees apply.

If you use a private online school, high school courses start around $350/course/semester/0.5 credit and go up from there.  Some have "full time" tuition discounts if you take their required courses.

It's K12 Virtual Academy, and you can only use this if there is a public option in your state.

If not, then the private option (iCademy) for their 9th-12th program is $375/course/semester/0.5 credit for part time enrollment, and $6995 per year for full time enrollment ($3499/semester).

  5. the only way you'll find out ofr sure is by going to the virtual academy website and finding out for yourself!
